Visit the tiny town that was the scene of Australia’s largest gold robbery on 15 June 1862. There is plenty to see and learn in town, with a choice of lunch venues.  This ride is on sealed roads.

THE COWRA RIDE: 78.2K 4H 21M

Take a ride to the beautiful Japanese Gardens in Cowra. Leave in the morning and take a tour and lunch by the water before returning back to Canowindra through the hillside. ​This ride is on sealed roads.

THE WOODSTOCK RIDE: 62.9K 3H 45M

Travel the winding roads and hills to the relatively isolated township of Woodstock and stop for lunch at the pub. You can visit a restored railway station and beautiful old buildings from the brief gold rush.

THE CARGO RIDE: 65.4K 3H 37M

Climb the hills to Cargo, established in 1860s for gold mining, Cargo was a stop for Cobb and Co Coaches from Orange to Canowindra. There is a lovely eat in / takeaway cafe and a pub full of open fires for winter warmth and hearty meals. ​This ride is on sealed roads.

THE GOOLOOGONG RIDE: 62.9K 3H 20M

Visit the riverside town of Gooloogong – named after the former 22,400 ac Goolagong property at the same location. Eat a family friendly meal at the pub and visit the lolly shop – right next to the old log cabin.

THE BILLIMARI RIDE: 54.5K 2H 49M

The name Billimari is Aboriginal for water in the local Wiradjuri language. Travel through the green, irrigated countryside of vegetables, grapes, and lucerne flats.  This ride is on sealed and well graded gravel roads.

THE FOSSIL RIDE: 40.2K 2H 4M

Visit the Age of Fishes Museum then head to the location of the discovery of more than 3500 

360 million year old Devonian fish fossils.

Challenge yourself with our hill ride, travelling along the river past vineyards and river flats, before the climb commences and you move into rolling pastures and farmland. This ride is on sealed roads.
